Current Partnerships and projects offering new technologies to schools
IETMCS have partnered with Grace Lutheran College and Skills Generation Pty Ltd to develop the BCI-Bot.
The BCI-Bot has been developed by educators with 25 years’ experience teaching code and robotics in the high school classroom.
BCI-Bot will enable schools to launch their STEM program well beyond current market offerings and extend students’ interest and engagement.
Students will learn how to build and code the BCI-Bot. Students can develop an understanding of the principles of building and coding a robot as the BCI-Bot can be coded to: drive, steer, detect objects, colour and lines.
Recycled Robot
IETMCS have partnered with Cyborg Engineering Pty Ltd, Grace Lutheran College, and Skills Generation Pty Ltd to develop the Recycled Robot.
This interactive robot will follow a designated pathway around the school engaging with students and encouraging them to put their recycled rubbish in the bin. The best part is that it is delivered to the school in kit form for the students to build. It can also be dismantled, ready for a new class of students to assemble and start their learnings.
